Payment of rent
Rent must be paid in advance for each month, at the latest the weekday before each months beginning. If payment of rent is delayed, the landlord (Tunabyggen) has the legal right to claim compensation plus interest for issued collection of debt, according to Swedish law (the fee is SEK 160 at the moment).
The rent includes heating, water and eletricity. If the debt is more than one month´s rent, Tunabyggen can evict the student from the apartment, which means that the apartment will be locked.
