At the moment all rooms are booked. If you apply and pay we put you on our waiting list and send you a confirmation of accommodation as soon as possible. We can refund the payment except a fee of SEK 500.
Housing in Borlänge
When you get your enrolment/confirmation from Högskolan Dalarna you can apply for accommodation.
Foreign and international students can only hire furnished apartments that are included in the agreement for housing guarantee between Tunabyggen and Högskolan Dalarna.
You can only book accommodation through our office or this site.

Payment / confirmation
You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to pay part of the first rent, SEK 2000 and a deposit of SEK 2500, in advance.
After you have paid, no later than June 30th, we will as soon as possible send you the confirmation of accommodation.
If you have mentioned a wish about the accomodation, it´s not always sure we can meet it. We distribute the rooms in order after the date we get the payment.
ContractFor the next semester the contract is valid from the 16th of August 2010, independent of arrival. If you arrive earlier you pay rent from the day you move in.
Between the 16th and the 27th of August you sign the contract at our office in Tjärna Centrum, Jan Ers gata. Office hours are 13.00 - 16.00, Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd open hours are 16.00 - 20.00.
Deposit
To get your deposit back you have to book an inspection of your room/apartment, with your housing manager, on your departure day. If your room/apartment is cleaned and in good order, the keys returned and the rent paid you will get your deposit back.
During your study period you can change room/apartment after one year.
You are not allowed to share the room with someone else, if you do that you can loose your contract.
If you arrive after office hours, please make a temporary accommodation at the Youth Hostel.
